Tourism has become a big concern at one North Carolina beach, after tropical storm Hanna damaged their coastline in early September.
Officials say they hope oceanfront tourism at Holden beach will be the same in 2009, as it was before the storm hit.
According to reports, Hanna took an estimated 300,000 cubic yards of sand from the beach.
It will cost an estimated $9 million to replenish the sand.
Holden beach town manager, David Hewitt says the U.S Army Corps of Engineers expects to award a contract by the end of this month, to dredge parts of the Intracoastal Waterway.
