A long standoff between police and a man is over tonight.

A long standoff between police and a man is over tonight.

Greenville Police responded to a call this morning from a person in the Forbes Woods Apartment Complex saying their neighbor was threatening to harm himself.

The man also said he had a gun and barricaded himself inside his home.

Police were able to talk with him on the phone and several hours later he came out and was taken into custody.

No one was injured.
