Elizabeth Edwards was set to speak to a women's conference in Pittsburgh last night-- but had to cancel because she was too sick to travel.
Organizers say that while she dropped out -- she still participated by telephone.
During an appearance in North Carolina on Wednesday she said her cancer is no worse today than it was 18 months ago.
