10 year Postal Service employee charged with fraud and theft

A ten year employee of the Postal Service is charged with 19 counts of financial transaction card theft and 13 counts of financial transaction card fraud.

A ten year employee of the Postal Service is charged with 19 counts of financial transaction card theft and 13 counts of financial transaction card fraud.

Greenville Police tell Nine On Your Side that they arrested Paula Lynn Brabble for the crimes.

According to authorities, she intercepted a dozen cards sent through the mail to various individuals, acitvated them, and made purchases and obtained cash at ATM's. In all, the transactions totaled $12,500.

Additional charges are pending.

Brabble is being held in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond.
