One group in the east is encouraging healthy living and saying no to drugs.
The Kinston Community Health Center held their second annual health-fair this afternoon.
The fair had exhibits which talked about living well and there were demonstrations about the dangers of smoking and how it can affect your breathing.
They also had free health screenings and flu shots.
Carla Pellerin, CEO of the Kinston Health Center said, "Were doing this as a means of out reach and letting the people know that were here for them and if they ever need us, we can be available; particularly to the uninsured.”
Pellerin says they help around 9,000 people in the area; more than 4,000 of them are uninsured.
