Hamburgers for a quarter? Drinks for a dime? Sounds too good to be true, because it is.
The Pitt County Sheriff's Office is warning people about an email going around saying it’s the 60th Anniversary of Wendy's Restaurant this Wednesday.
The email says all hamburgers will sell for a quarter, cheeseburgers for .30 cents, fries for .15 cents and drinks for a dime.
Deputies say the email is a scam, they've called several Wendy's restaurants and they say they've never heard of the promotion.
