Another Wal-Mart may soon be heading to the east, even though some folks aren't happy about it.
Tonight, Greenville's Planning and Zoning Commission approved, 6 to 2, changes to the city's future land use map.
These changes allow the commission to rezone about 85 acres near Port Terminal Road and 10th street, where a new Wal-Mart Supercenter is proposed.
The land must be rezoned first before the retail shopping center can be built.
The proposal also includes an upscale apartment complex.
