In an effort to help teens become safer drivers, one county has added a required program.

Beginning December 1st, teen drivers charged with a motor vehicle violation, who desire a reduction in charges, will be required to attend the “Alive at 25” driving program.

This program is designed to bridge the gap between standard driver's education courses, and behaviors and skills needed for inexperienced drivers.

The program goal is to help reduce the number of teenage driving related deaths and accidents.
