Onslow County is taking no chances with this storm, Onslow County Schools are closed tomorrow.

The Red Cross is opening six shelters in the area at 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.

Shelters will open at Dixon, Southwest, and Jacksonville Commons Middle Schools. There will also be some at Swansboro, Richlands and White Oak High Schools.

If you have pets, Jacksonville Commons is the only shelter that will accept them.

For more information on the shelters, you can call the County Red Cross Chapter at (910) 347- 3581.

And the county has also enacted a county-wide curfew starting tomorrow night at 7:30pm til sunrise on Saturday.

Only law enforcement, emergency personnel and other officials are allowed out.
