Pitt County – As of 7 a.m. this morning, Pitt County Emergency Management is still monitoring the storm.

Pitt County – As of 7 a.m. this morning, Pitt County Emergency Management is still monitoring the storm. Daylight will provide a better view of any possible damage and EM will make decisions about shelter closings and EOC deactivation after this assessment. The Animal Shelter is closed.

Wellcome and D.H. Conley shelters have a population of 30 between the 2 locations. They are still currently open. Farmville Central is currently closed.

Pitt County is still currently under a tornado watch until 1:00 p.m.

Updates will come as needed.
