It's not every day you get to meet your favorite character on a hot CW drama but many fans of One Tree Hill did just that! The show taped an episode at Marine Corps Air Station New River Friday night.
Military families were able to catch a glimpse of the stars and enjoy a live concert. Big name stars like Sophia Bush and Ashley Rickards hung out with fans, signing autographs.
Music group, Angels & Airwaves expressed their gratitude towards are troops by giving a free concert. All musicians and One Tree Hill cast members say they simply wanted to say thanks to our marines and sailors.
Hilarie Burton from One Tree Hill says, "This is our generation. This is the generation that's fighting for us and putting their lives on the line for us and to be able to come out and do something like this for them it's rewarding."
Burton says the cast may visit our troops in the Middle East for thanksgiving. Enation, Bethany Galeotti and Kate Voegele also performed.
