The Carolina Pregnancy Center will hold it’s 17th annual Celebrate Life Banquet on Thursday, October 23rd at the Greenville Convention Center from 7-9 p.m.. The public is encouraged to attend.
At the Banquet, the Carolina Pregnancy Center will highlight the growth of the Center and their vision for the future. The Carolina Pregnancy Center offers pregnancy testing, prenatal vitamins, crisis peer counseling, baby and maternity clothing, parenting classes in Washington and access to ultrasounds through the Greenville office. The services of Carolina Pregnancy Center are free and invaluable to the young women who are in need of them.
This years key note speaker is Cal Thomas. A graduate of American University, Thomas is a 40-year veteran of broadcast and print journalism. With a twice-weekly column appearing in over 500 newspapers nationwide (including the Daily Reflector), Cal Thomas is the most widely read and one of the most highly regarded voices on the American political scene. He is a panelist on the popular “Fox News Watch” show and has also appeared on PBS, CNBC, Larry King Live and others. He is the author of 10 books, including the latest, Common Ground: How to Stop the Partisan war that is Destroying America, which was co-written with Bob Beckel. He and Beckel also write a twice-monthly column for USA Today.
In addition to being a talented and popular journalist, Cal has a heart for God and the sanctity of human life. He is not ashamed to proclaim the Word of God as it relates to this very important issue. He is undoubtedly one of the most dynamic speakers in our world today. Cal and his wife Ray have four adult children and nine grandchildren. They reside in the Washington DC area.
