At the Greenville-Pitt Chamber of Commerce's annual power luncheon, Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton got a chance to talk with government and business leaders today. They discussed the issues facing us at the local, state and national levels. In his keynote address, Dalton talked about our economy and why he thinks North Carolina will succeed in these tough times.
Dalton says, "We are poised to be a leader in that future economy, but we all have to work together to get through this very tough time. It's going to be a shared sacrifice as we get through it, but when we do get through it, North Carolina will be well-positioned if we continue to work together."
Today's event was held at the Brook Valley Country Club.
