Some people in a Durham are tired of drivers speeding through their neighborhood. So they're taking matters into their own hands.
They call themselves Angry Neighbors with Paintball Guns.
The group has posted signs near Duke Park, warning speeders that their cars will be shot with paint balls if they don't slow down.
The group wants Durham to reinstate the PACE Car program, which encouraged people to stick with the speed limit.
The members of the group aren't identifying themselves.
People who live in the neighborhood said they like the signs because they bring attention to the problem.
"[Speeding] is a very big problem on this street because it's a through-street,” Angelo Abbate said. “It goes right through to Ninth. I love the signs. I think it might slow traffic down."
Durham Police said the signs are inappropriate. They also said it's illegal to shoot paintballs at a car.
