Census Bureau hiring thousands in NC for 2010 census

The Census Bureau is looking to hire thousands of people for the 2010 census.

The Census Bureau is looking to hire thousands of people for the 2010 census.

Governor Perdue signed an executive order creating a "Census Complete Count Committee".

That means 24 thousand jobs are up for grabs to establish local committees and coordinate participation in the census.

Hiring will begin in January.
