The state is also looking to help businesses be more eco-friendly.
The state Environmental Stewardship Initiative or ESI is offering a two-year pilot program
For businesses and agencies not regulated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
The initiative is a voluntary program
To help reduce environmental impact and conserve natural resources.
Participants must make a commitment to the environment and participate in training and networking opportunities.
