A man dressed as Santa Claus gets an alcohol citation after he is caught drinking beer in the car of an alleged drunk driver.
Sparta, Wisconsin Police say they received numerous calls Sunday afternoon of an alleged drunk driver who had a passenger dressed like Santa Claus.
One caller said at one point the man dress as Santa stumbled from his vehicle, approached several children playing in a yard, began to hug them and demand where his reindeer were.
Officers found the car and arrested the driver, 47-year-old Kevin Arnold of Sparta, for alleged drunk driving. The man dressed as Santa, 55-year-old Thomas Arnold of Sparta, was cited for having an open intoxicant in the car. He was released at the scene.
