WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - A New Zealand teen who flashed her breasts at passing motorists managed to distract one driver so much he ran her down.
The 18-year-old was apparently egged on by friends to partially expose herself as she stood on a traffic island in the middle of the four-lane street.
A police inspector says one vehicle veered to miss her. The teen suffered minor injuries. A police official says she was "extremely lucky" that she wasn't hurt worse.
The Southland Times says the teen has pleaded guilty to disorderly behavior in the allegedly alcohol-fueled middle-of-the-night incident. She's also been fined nearly $200.
