Experts say now is the best time to think through security. More people are setting up home surveillance cameras.
They also say to cut back your bushes and trees in the yard. It makes it harder for theives to hide.
And even putting stickers and signs in your yard can ward off would-be burglars.
The average loss from home burglaries last year? More than two-thousand dollars a home.
