You won't see any Super Bowl ads from Pepsi this year.

That will be the first time in more than 20 years.

Pepsi ads have been a Super Bowl fixture since 1987.

The soft drink giant says it simply won't pay the big money it takes to air a commercial during the game.

Instead, the company will focus on an ad campaign that will appear mostly online.

This season's Super Bowl will be played February 7th.

You can watch it on WNCT-TV.
