RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Officials at the airport for North Carolina's capital city say flights are back on schedule following a weekend of delays and cancellations as a blizzard blanketed much of the East.
Raleigh-Durham International Airport spokeswoman Mindy Hamlin says all but five flights were leaving on time Monday morning. The delays were to affected cities including New York and Philadelphia.
The storm has made a normally busy day for the airport extremely busy. Hamlin says travelers who couldn't get out over the weekend are rushed to rebook flights Monday, and many planes flying north are full.
