Police stumbled onto a warehouse full of pot plants.
Police say they didn't know the operation was there, even though it's just blocks from the police department, at the corner of Seventh and Jackson streets.

Apparently a short in the illegal cable caused a fire.
Neighbor Daniel Chan says the cookie factory closed a year ago.
He watched construction work in the old bakery, but didn't know what it was for.. And said he never saw the people who ran the place.
But it seems the area is apparently a good place to grow pot.
