Going green may help put people in our state back to work.

That’s why North Carolina's Community Colleges are working together to prepare students for what they believe is the future.

They want to train students for “green jobs" through a project called Code Green.

They'll work to identify green jobs and the needs of companies in our state – or companies looking to move here.

Code Green would take classes about green technologies and industries and extend them to campuses across the state.
