CRIME TRACKER: JPD charge man for drugs, nearly hitting 11 year old

When police tried to pull a man over, he kept driving and nearly hit an 11 year old boy.

Jacksonville Police say it happened near a school on Bell Fork Road Saturday.

Police also found 3 grams of cocaine on Anthony Pittman.

Anthony Pittman was arrested and charged with assault on a child less than 12, fleeing to elude arrest, possession with intent to sell cocaine, and several other charges.

Bond was set at 16-thousand.
