WASHINGTON (AP) - President-elect Barack Obama has told congressional leaders he'll make his stimulus proposal available on the Internet.

People attending the meeting say Obama told the lawmakers there will be a Google-like search function to show each proposed project or program, by congressional district.

Obama told the bipartisan meeting that the economy "is very sick" and getting worse and that action is needed now "to break the momentum" of the recession.

He's embracing tax cuts now expected to reach $300 billion and predicts the massive stimulus package will be approved within two weeks of his taking office.

The overall package could be in the range of $800 billion, and with that kind of money, GOP leaders are insisting they have input and that there's no need to rush a vote.
