Tonight’s top story, Barack Obama was sworn in as our 44th President today.
In front of more than a million people on the Washington D.C. mall, President Obama called for a new chapter in American history.
"Starting today we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and begin again the work of remaking America," said Obama.
Many were emotional as they watched.
They all braved the cold conditions, not only during the inauguration ceremony, but on the mile and a half parade route.
Folks had to get there early to get a coveted spot to see the new first family.
