Things keep getting worse for Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
His lead attorney now says he won't represent the governor in his criminal case.
Ed Genson made the announcements following a court appearance yesterday.
The governor has continuously praised the defense lawyer, but Genson has had enough of Blagojevich.
"I never require a client to do what I say, but I do require them to at least listen to what I say. I believe in this case it would be better off and I intend to withdraw as counsel in this case," said Genson.
Genson would not say exactly what frustrated him.
Sam Adam Jr. and Sheldon Sarosky will continue to represent the governor.
