July 4th Events in Eastern North Carolina

Greenville: July 4th celebrations will be held at the Town Commons off of 1st St. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Farmville: Celebration at the Walter B. Jones Town Common. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a band playing until 9 p.m. Fireworks begin after dark.

Jacksonville: 4th of July Freedom Festival from 2 to 9:15 p.m. at Onslow Pines Park.
Fireworks start at 9:15 p.m. Concessions benefit the New River Foundations.

New Bern: 4th of July events will be held at Lawson Creek Park starting at 3 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Camp Lejeune: July 4th Celebration with America's Heroes at W.P.T. Hill Field. Enjoy a night of free entertainment featuring the Crystal Coast Choral Society and the 2nd Marine Division Band topped off with a fireworks display. Kids activity area opens at 5:30 p.m.

Holly Ridge: Fourth of July at the Holly Ridge Municipal Park, off of N.C. 50, begins at 6 p.m. Festivities held at McLean Park by Chapel by the Sea on N.C. 58 near mile marker 18. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Atlantic Beach: July Fourth Celebration held from 7 to 11 p.m. at The Circle. Sammy O'Banion and the Mardi Gras Band will provide the musical entertainment. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Morehead City: Visit the waterfront for live music with the Carolina Beach Club Band from 7 to 11 p.m. at Jaycee Park. Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Swansboro: Visit the historic downtown for music by The Craig Woolard Band from 7 to 10 p.m. Fireworks sponsored by towns of Swansboro and Cedar Point at 9 p.m.

Surf City: Festivities will be held at Soundside Park, next to the Surf City Swing Bridge, beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m.

Town of Beaufort: 4th of July Parade down Front St. Begins at 11:00 a.m. Havelock Community Band plays at Courthouse Square around 12 p.m.

Snowhill: Rosenwald Center for Cultural Enrichment will sponsor a Fireworks Display at 602 West Harper Street. The public is invited to attend.
