An early Sunday morning drive-by shooting in Jacksonville landed one man in jail.
Police say the victim was a designated driver who got shot after dropping his family off for the night.
Police charged Jose Marin with assault with a deadly weapon.
They say an argument broke out at Marin’s home after a night out with family.
The unidentified victim then drove the rest of the group home.
Once there, the victim was standing outside on his cell phone when police say Marin drove by and opened fire, hitting the victim in the leg.
Marin is being held in the Onslow county jail on $250,000 bond.
