Have you ever wondered what the view is from up in the trees?
A special tree house opened today that give everyone the chance to get a bird’s eye view.
The sylvan heights waterfowl park in Scotland Neck opened its new tree house. It’s a facility with a twist. It's fully wheel chair accessible.
The tree house allows easy viewing of the centers wetland swamp habitat from 20 feet in the air.
Mike Lubbock, Sylvan Heights Water Fowl Park Founder: "we wanted to make it a-d-a approved. And that's exactly what we've got. You come in here with a wheel chair straight off the top of the road and you’re already 20 feet above the swamp.
Mikey Boykin, first wheelchair visitor: "to be able to get out into nature, back to nature again, just to enjoy life with everyone else that is walking about, we can enjoy it also.
