Some middle schoolers in the east are putting their brains to the test, finding out just how book smart they really are. It's part of Pitt County schools 19th Annual Battle of the Books competition. Students competed by answering questions about more than two dozen books they read during the school year. Eppes Middle School won the competition. They'll go on to regional competition at the end of the month right here in Greenville.
