It was a night of fundraising on the court as the Pitt County All-Stars took on the visiting Harlem Ambassadors.
The two-hour game at JH Rose High School entertained the kids with basketball tricks like the Harlem Globetrotters might use, to encouraged teamwork and motivation.
Although the high flying dunks were left to the professional athletes.
The theme was “Anything you can do, I can do better”.
Organizers and players say kids can continue to live that theme after they leave the court.
"It's important that they get an education,” said Communities In School Pitt Co. director Heather Rhodes. “Go to school and then do all the great stuff because it's important to get an education first."
Heather Rhodes tells Nine On Your Side proceeds raised on Friday night will help fund programs in the Pitt County School District.
