Monday night ballet lovers in Kinston got a special treat.
North Carolina Dance Theater, a Charlotte-based ballet company, put on a show at the Performing Arts Center at Kinston High School.
The event was part of a program called American Masterpieces.
The goal is to introduce Americans to the best of their culture and artistic legacy.
North Carolina Dance Theater was established in 1970 and is the oldest dance company in the state.
