Clinton man charged with biting off another man's ear

The Carteret County Sheriff's Office tells Nine On Your Side that they've arrested a 25 year old Clinton, NC man for biting off the ear of a man.

The Carteret County Sheriff's Office tells Nine On Your Side that they've arrested a 25 year old Clinton, NC man for biting off the ear of a man.

It happened Sunday evening on a shrimp boat docked at Radio Island. The 63 year old victim says he allowed David Bryant Turner to stay on the boat with him.

Authorities say the pair got into an argument which ended with Turner biting off the lower portion of the man's ear.

He's now charged with Felony Maiming on the Ear.

He's in the Carteret County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
