Plymouth Police tell 9 On Your Side there is no connection between 2 carjackings that happened last week. The first incident happened Tuesday in Washington. The second incident happened Friday in Plymouth.
Washington Police say they have a suspect wanted in connection with last Tuesday's carjacking. Nidia Martinez was leaving work when a gunman forced her into her car. Martinez managed to call her husband on her cell phone without the suspect seeing and her husband found them. The suspect then shot at Martinez's husband and then fled.
Police are not releasing details yet about the suspect.

Meanwhile, Plymouth Police are still looking for a suspect for the Friday afternoon carjacking. 75-year old Violet Bartley was nearly abducted when she was leaving lunch. A gunman forced her in the car and then demande the keys to her Cadillac. Bartley managed to escape from the passenger's side door.
