Washington Police search for shooting suspect

Washington police are searching for a suspect involved in Tuesday’s shooting incident.

Washington Police are searching for a suspect involved in Tuesday’s shooting incident.
Police say they’re looking for 28-year-old Omar Blount following a shooting off of East 7th St. around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Police say two people were hit in the leg, and their injuries are not life threatening.
Blount has been charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
He has been named a wanted person by the NCIC.
