Greenville Man Faces Rape, Burglary Charges

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office says Jeremy Purdue faces burglary and rape charges.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office says Jeremy Purdue faces burglary and rape charges. They say a detective responded to a call Saturday on Fairmont Drive in the Cyress Sands Mobile Home Park. A witness identified Purdue; the victim was taken to PCMH. 22-year-old Purdue is also wanted as a probation absconder. He's in the Pitt County Detention Center under $400,000 bond.
