The Martin County Sheriff's Office says they've arrested 21 people in a 6 month long drug investigation.
Authorities conducted a joint operation called "Street Sweeper 2" with officers from the Williamston Police Department, Robersonville Police Department and agents with North Carolina A.L.E.
It's the third operation of it’s kind since October 2008. So far, 70 inviduals have been rounded up in the operations.
Besides these special operations, covert and overt operations are conducted to arrest and charge additional drug suspects.
