North Carolina law student gives free legal advice

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina university law student is helping local entrepreneurs with free legal advice for a day.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina university law student is helping local entrepreneurs with free legal advice for a day.
A third-year law student from the Community Law and Business Clinic at Wake Forest University's School of Law will be in downtown Winston-Salem on Thursday afternoon to host "Ask A Lawyer Day." The student will offer advice on running a small business or nonprofit group.
Wake Forest law students who work at the clinic provide services like drafting legal documents and navigating business regulations.
The event will be held from noon until 3:30 p.m.
