The Pitt County Sheriff's Office says they've charged 2 Greenville women with identity theft.
Authorities say 24 year old Kristal Joy Taylor obtained the social security number of someone and applied for two credit cards in their name. Once she received the cards, Taylor then began making illegal purchases with the cards.
Taylor is charged with Identity Theft (2) counts, Obtaining Property By False Pretense (13) counts.
She's in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $175,000.00 secured bond.
And another Greenville woman is charged with identity theft after she took someone's credit card without permission and ordered items from various places charging them to the victim's card.
58 year old Polly Ann Spindler is charged (16) counts of Identity Theft.
She's also in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $160,000.00 secured bond.
