When you add a little wind to the saturated ground fallen trees is what you’ll get.
A pine tree fell onto a home on North Boyd Road in Bath Thursday morning.
Homeowner Abe Davis tells 9OYS he and his daughter were in the middle of making lunch when the tree slammed into the home and pierced the roof.
It destroyed a computer and a desk but it didn't hurt anyone.
Davis adds, “We have another big tree that's like leaning inches away from the house right now---so that one could have fell and then just collapsed the whole house while we was inside there."
There were other reports of downed trees and power lines but no major problems or power outages.
