One man is in the hospital after being shot during an armed robbery.
Pitt County investigators say the people who held him up are in jail.
Deputies say it happened on the 1,000 block of Smithtown Road in Grimesland around 2:00 this morning.
That is where they found the victim.
A K-9 brought in helped them locate the car used in the robbery.
Deputies then spotted Dwight Hooker and Justin Tyer walking down the road.
They also say they found a weapon in the car.
Both are charged with first degree burglary and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
The victim is recovering at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Investigators say more arrests are possible in connection with the case.
