A woman's scream might have been the key to thwarting off a couple of strong armed robbers in Greenville.
Police say a woman was attacked on 12th Street around 2:30 Friday afternoon.
They say two men tried to take her purse while she was coming home, but the men ran away when she screamed.
She was not hurt and kept her purse.
