If you need to clean your closet, now is the perfect time.
Arlington Village is holding a clothing drive this weekend.
People there got in the spirit of things by holding tree lighting ceremony tonight with a hint of snow.
It also set the stage for people to come out and donate clothes.
Donations will go to "My Sister’s Closet" and the Family Violence Center.
Organizers say people need more help than usual in this economy.
"You know there's always someone else that's more in need than we are. And we all have clothes that we've outgrown or we're not wearing and all we've got to do is go through those closets, bring out the clothes tomorrow, Arlington Village. The kids can play in the snow from 1:00 to 5:00 and people can donate the items and also receive raffle tickets," said Christy Angle, a representative of Arlington Village.
The clothing drive will pick up again on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00.
It will snow there and only there every hour.
