A new principal is in place in Wayne County after a grading controversy surrounding a middle school.
The school district hired Mary Kay James as the new principal for Rosewood Middle School after to replace the outgoing Susie Shepherd.
Shepherd got into trouble for approving a fundraising plan that let students buy extra points on their tests.
The school stopped the fundraiser last week after getting several complaints about the so-called "cash for grades" idea.
James takes over as principal on December 1.
