More developments are coming to light in the case of missing five-year-old Shaniya Davis.
The Fayetteville girl's been missing since Tuesday.
On Sunday police searched for her in Lee County.
Fayetteville police say they were following leads that prompted a ground search between Spring Lake and Sanford.
Investigators say Shaniya was last seen on a surveillance videotape taken from a hotel in Sanford.
A highway patrol helicopter helped out in the search.
Lee County sheriff's deputies are focusing on a 26-mile stretch along Highway 87.
