A group that has been trying to get rid of the Duplin County School Superintendent will get their way.
Dr. Wiley Doby told the Duplin County Board of Education he did not wish to renew his contract when it expires in June 2010. Doby would not tell Nine On Your Side why he made that decision.
The No Doby Contract Group has been pushing for the school board to let Doby go. They say he unjustly fired employees and relocated staff out of retaliation.
Doby says those accusations aren't true.
