Police were led on a high speed chase in Charlotte yesterday.
Police say a man robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon, then tried to run.
Carlos Burns tried to get away in his car, even throwing money out of the window at one point.
The chase wound up on Interstate 85, where authorities were able to stop Burns.
He told police he ran because he was scared.
But this wasn't Burns first run-in with the law.
He was convicted of attempted murder in 2002, which was later over-turned.
