Pitt County Schools spokeswoman Heather Mayo says J. H. Rose High School has finished conducting a modified lockdown drill for the school.
You may remember D.H. Conley was on a similar “modified lockdown” on Wednesday.
During the lockdown, Greenville Police conducted a canine search search of the facilities to ensure it is safe and drug free.
Mayo says the drug sweeps are board policy and are conducted periodically at county schools as a deterrent for drug use.
The school has sent out a text alert to parents and will be sending more information home.
