Kinston Police tell Nine On Your Side that they've arrested a man for threatening to kill people at Lenoir Community College.
It happened Wednesday around 4 o'clock.
Authorities say 19 year old Charles Ray Skinner made the threat around several other students.
He was later taken into custody at his home without incident at his home in Kinston. A search of his residence yielded a shotgun that belonged to the suspect's mother, but no ammunition for the weapon was found.
Skinner is charged with Felony False Report of Mass Violence at an Educational Facility.
He's in the Lenoir County Jail under a $100,000 bond.
No other charges are expected.
